Photographer’s Notes:

Who comes to mind when u think of people engaging in various dangerous, crude, ridiculous, and self-injuring stunts and pranks for entertainment?

Dirty Sanchez (MTV show) come to mind? Two members, Pritchard and Dainton, of the group of four, hit the road again not to show off their skateboarding skills but to bring their joyfully vile antics to anyone brave enough to stomach it. Pritchard vs. Dainton hit SeOne @ London Bridge last month and did not disappoint. Pritchard got the brunt of the abuse but I think one thing I got from this is to just go along with the flow of life and not think to much about things, ‘cos obviously these guys DON’T :) Aside from the various pranks of which I narrowly missed getting fire extinguisher foam on my lens, the show was pretty straight forward, with slowly changing background lights and Blue/yellow spot lights hitting the stage from fairly high in the rafters for the entire show.

I shot the stage set at f/2.8 and ISO 250 with shutter speeds between 1/20 and 1/50, and used an SB-600 remotely using the Nikon CLS system to add some dramatic light to some of thier stunts.
