Hospitality at Matter

Photographer’s Notes:

This time round Hospital Records took over the superclub Matter, to bring some Drum+Bass vibez to the masses.

Waited to play around with my Nikon 10.5mm f2.8 Fish eye Lens. With f2.8 its a fast lens that adds exagerated angles and a WHOPPING 180 degree view. Matter was the best place to test it out to see how it handles and responds. Being early days I’ll not be overly critical right now as I am still learning how to use this bad boy! So far so good, It focuses nice and quick and even at very close distances. At a point my fingers were approx 1cm away from the lens and it locked in focus. Being fisheye it can fit a lot into a picture, due to this I occasionally get my fingers in the corner of an image frequently but I recommend looking through the viewfinder to compose shots before u click the shutter as you need to get close to a subject to fill the frame nicely. When close to the subject its best to reduce your flash power if you have it mounted on the camera else you get blown out images. So far Im loving it but need more playtime with it :) So all I can say is more images coming soon.
