Although a few months late it was for good reason. I could not post earlier due to a few restrictions one being because it was a filmed event to be used this year in their campaign and they did not want images out before the time. The gig took place in 7th December, ‘09 and those fans who wore xmas hats had to be told to remove them as the event was being filmed :)

The Saturdays, one of UK’s top girl bands, hit the stage in HMV Forum in Kentish Town, London to perform to a few hundred fans and winners of a competition run by the body spray fragrance company “Impulse”. They were supported by DJ Ironik.

Made Up Ltd were asked to transform the venue into a glam sparkly haven to help launch the impulse fragrance. They required setup pictures( before/after ), backstage/vip room pictures and also general stage shots. All their hard graft and design work paid off in the end and the HMV forum looked fabulous in its blue theme obviously to match the fragrance colour, even the cushions and seating was all custom made.

After the shoot I was able to watch the final finishing touches to setting up the stage rig and also check out the sound check which was great if not a bit hilarious watching the girls test their mics, vocal range and choreography over and over.
